Ibhongo Consulting Pty Ltd is a level 1BBB EE consulting engineering firm established in 2002 as a Close Corporation (cc) entity and later converted into a Private Company in 2018. Ibhongo is ISO 9001:2015 certified, provides consulting engineering services in the sectors such as Transportation, Water & Sanitation, Buildings & Structural Engineering, Project & Program Management. We offer the full basket of engineering consulting services ranging from infrastructure planning, stakeholder engagement, engineering design, construction and project management.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

Ibhongo Consulting is committed in creating capacity in the broader industry by investing in education and skills development. This we do by providing bursaries to our staff as well as communities where we operate. We have a structured training and mentorship program in line with the Engineering Council South Africa (ECSA) to train and mentor engineers, technologists and technicians. We also employ graduates and expose them to the project life cycle while mentoring them.

EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT

Ibhongo Consulting realises that motivated staff is key to successful delivery of projects, as such Ibhongo provides opportunities
for further education and mentorship of its staff. Performance appraisals are conducted with staff to appreciate good work and to identify areas for improvement.

 

ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT

As a recipient of mentorship and business development by an established firm during the first 5 years of its existence, Ibhongo recognises the impact that properly implemented enterprise development has on small firms. Ibhongo has been and continues to provide business development opportunities to smaller firms through sub consultancy agreements during the life cycle of our projects.
